Chelsea’s GIVEAWAY: Enter to Win a Free Haircut from Shadow Hills Salon
Back to school already. With joy and sadness we send our little ones off to school once again.
After a summer of chlorine and sun, these girls needed a hair trim. I knew it was time because it was getting difficult to brush through their knotted hair. I wanted to keep their hair long, and just take a little off the bottom to keep it healthy and get rid of the summer hair damage.
A lot of people ask me where I get my girls’ hair cut, so I thought I’d share:
We go to…
Look at them–they can’t wait to get started.
I am so thankful to know an excellent hairstylist who is really great with kids! She has also become a friend. Her name is Paula Foley.
Paula is the owner of Shadow Hills Salon–a salon we’ve been going to for years. I have to say, she is talented, reliable, consistent, sweet, a great listener, interesting, and as you can see, I am just so thankful to know her. Have you ever noticed how you start telling your life story to someone while they are doing your hair? Paula knows way too much about me!
We always ask for long layers with a v-shape in the back. It looks really nice on their wavy hair (and straight hair).
Here are my happy girls after their hair cuts! Now we won’t have so much trouble brushing through their hair. It will make getting ready for school in the morning much easier.
Guess what? Paula is offering a free haircut to one randomly selected person who enters our giveaway!

Chelsea introduced me to this salon for myself a few years ago, and I love it! Paula is wonderful and very friendly. I have not brought my kids for haircuts, so thanks for the great tip.
